POACHER is a series inspired by the courage of wildlife crime fighters in India, who successfully tackled the largest ivory poaching ring in the history of the country.
It’s an examination of the sacrifice that people are making in order to avert species extinction, of the reason why wildlife crime occurs, and of the animal kingdom’s response to our actions.
The process of making POACHER, both in researching the real people, and recreating their story on screen, has changed my life, and I’m interested in doing more in this space of impact-based dramatic storytelling.
